Their people celebrate and exalt them. If it's always been that way, what reason would they have to think we would think any differently about them and their 'blessings'? [ Unless they're told in no uncertain terms, and directly. ] And that's assuming they have the sense to pause, that they know what compassion is, that they'd feel it toward mortals or people from other worlds.

[ She speaks like someone who's thought too much on the topic, with so much experience with gods and beings distinctly 'other' than human. Like someone who's holding back a wealth of thoughts about it, really, and she is. She's paused. Lifts a hand smoothly, waves it almost dismissively. Turns the subject. ]

I'd better get those dishes back empty.
